Landlord licensing has been keeping us (or Karon) busy these past few months.

Thankfully, the Council have realised the initial deadline to meet the early bird criteria was impossible for agencies like ourselves so they have kindly given us an extension until 31 July.

The process is arduous and we have come across a few issues along the way that have slowed us down; the main one being that only one of our team can log into the system at one time.

For each property there are also a lot of documents to upload and there is a lot of repetition involved in the forms.

We know a few landlords have attempted to complete the forms themselves but have given up in frustration.

As Karon submits what feels like her millionth application, we can confirm she is now an expert in selective licence form filling – which means you should all be getting your early bird discount!

Look out for your ‘Part A’ receipt landing in your My Area as confirmation that yours has been submitted.
