A quick update on Landlord Licensing; the first stage of the process has now been completed and we are working through the second stage as and when the Council requests the information. All seems to be going well and thankfully the second stage is a little more straight-forward than the first! We will be contacting landlords directly regarding their individual properties when we have anything to communicate. 

The Council are not wasting any time and have already started doing spot checks on some properties.

We are aware that some Letting Agents have not been applying for the Landlord Licence on behalf of their clients, leaving landlords exposed to potential criminal proceedings. You can trust that we are working hard to keep you compliant and any of our landlords can see all up-to-date documentation in their ‘My Area’.
