LPS was delighted to support the underage presentation ceremony of local sports team Liverpool John Mitchels GAA (Gaelic Football) at the weekend.
The event, held at the Liverpool Irish Centre on Saturday, recognised the hard work and efforts of the talented young players that represent the Club throughout the season.
Each child was presented with a well-deserved medal and a Gaelic football, a gesture that has been partly funded by us as part of our community programme.
An extra big round of applause was given to the U15 team who were presented with their Lancashire League Winners medals, the Lancashire League Shield and the Northern Games Shield.
Recognition was also given to the coaches and volunteers who give up their time throughout the year to support the young players.
John Mitchels GAA has a rich history in Liverpool and next year will be celebrating 120 years providing grassroots sporting opportunities to children in the city.
LPS has been proud to support the club since we opened our doors back in 2006 and we’ll be helping them celebrate in style next year!
